For adjusters and loss consultants
How Encore works with adjusters and loss consultants
Encore Restoration is an employee-owned Canadian firm, based in Vancouver, BC, that specializes in large and complex industrial, commercial, institutional, and course-of-construction disaster restoration across Canada except Quebec. This page is how that firm works with adjusters and loss consultants, using the documentation targets already published for assigned files.
What adjusters and loss consultants use Encore for
Adjusters and loss consultants use Encore Restoration when a large or complex ICI or course-of-construction file needs one documented path. The firm is employee-owned, based in Vancouver, and works across Canada except Quebec. Emergency response is 24/7. The sequence is Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild. Residential losses are outside the model.
Loss consultants evaluating scope, damages, and recovery options get the field record the protocol already describes, rather than a separate reporting product. Facility owners and property managers remain on the file. The services hub lists the four pillars those files fall into.
Documentation targets on an assigned file
The published targets on an assigned file are project file access in about 1 hour, an initial summary report and budgets in about 24 hours, plans, photos, moisture logs, and equipment records in about 72 hours, and repair breakdowns in about 14 days. Each item applies where it is relevant to the loss.
Within about 1 hour the target is access to project notes, documents, photographs, videos, reports, and related records on a centralized platform before crews are dispatched, where that platform is available. Within about 24 hours the target adds cause and scope videos, damage photographs including thermal imaging, and pricing comparisons for dry-in-place and demolition-based approaches.
Emergency response
Encore Restoration provides rapid 24/7 emergency response. On assigned files we:
- Secure and document the cause of loss where reasonably accessible
- Immediately implement emergency mitigation to minimize ongoing property damage, unless the assignment is inspection-only
- Arrange fire watch or emergency security services where required
- Provide inspections and reports on incidents of any value at no cost to the property-management client
- Complete 3D scanning where appropriate
Emergency mitigation may proceed without delay where reasonably necessary to prevent further damage, protect property, or address safety concerns.

Scope limits that protect the assignment
Encore Restoration does not serve Quebec and does not take residential, contents, or carpet-cleaning assignments as its model. There is no second phone number and no published street address. The Priority Response Program is a developing concept on the protocol page, not a launched product described here. The working standard remains 24/7 response and Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild.
Service geography is explained on the service area page. Course-of-construction carriers can start from the course-of-construction service.
Questions from adjusters and loss consultants
The answers below repeat the assigned-file commitments already on the ICI Response page. They are for adjusters and loss consultants. Encore Restoration is employee-owned, serves Canada except Quebec, and uses Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild. The first published numbers are 24/7, about 1 hour, about 24 hours, about 72 hours, and about 14 days.
What documentation do adjusters receive in the first 72 hours?
Where relevant on an assigned file: project file access in about 1 hour; within about 24 hours, a cause-of-loss video, a scope-of-work video, photographs including thermal imaging, and budgets comparing dry-in-place and demolition-based pricing; within about 72 hours, floor plans, a photo log, moisture documentation, and equipment placement. Repair breakdowns are a 14-day target.
How fast does Encore respond to a large commercial loss?
Encore Restoration provides 24/7 emergency response. On assigned files the firm secures and documents cause where reasonably accessible, starts emergency mitigation unless the assignment is inspection-only, arranges fire watch or emergency security where required, and completes 3D scanning where appropriate. Inspections and reports of any value are at no cost to the property-management client.
What is the initial report at 24 hours?
The 24-hour target covers two deliverables: an initial summary report, with cause-of-loss video, scope-of-work video, and a photographed summary of affected areas including thermal imaging; and budgets, as average pricing comparisons for dry-in-place and demolition-based approaches prepared by Encore Restoration.
Does Encore Restoration handle residential jobs for insurers?
No. The firm does not restore residential carpets as a business model and does not run a residential service line. Adjusters and loss consultants can assign large and complex industrial, commercial, institutional, and course-of-construction files across Canada except Quebec.
Which parts of Canada does Encore Restoration serve?
All provinces and territories except Quebec. Head-office presence is Vancouver, BC. One phone number, 236-836-2673, and confidential@encorerestoration.ca are the contact channels. Named cities are deployment regions, not branch offices.
