Excellence under pressure
Large and complex losses expose weak process and weak leadership. We recruit and retain people who raise the standard when the file is hardest.
About Encore
Encore Restoration is an employee-owned Canadian firm, based in Vancouver, BC, that specializes in large and complex industrial, commercial, institutional, and course-of-construction disaster restoration across Canada except Quebec. We exist for large and complex ICI losses — including course of construction — and for the professionals who run them with integrity, skill, and calm under pressure.
Our purpose
Encore Restoration exists so large and complex ICI and course-of-construction losses outside Quebec are led by owners of the outcome. The firm is employee-owned, based in Vancouver, and built around trust and teamwork rather than a residential volume model. Response on assigned files is 24/7, through Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild.
Encore Restoration was founded on a simple conviction: the Canadian disaster restoration industry needs a firm that focuses where the stakes are highest, staffed by people who are owners of the outcome — and of the company itself.
We do not chase every claim type. We specialize in industrial, commercial, institutional, and course of construction restorations where complexity multiplies: multi-stakeholder coordination, specialized systems, active-build constraints, regulatory discipline, and the expectation of documented excellence from insurers, adjusters, loss consultants, and property managers.
We win as a team. We profit as a team. Support over bureaucracy. Ownership on the ground floor for those who earn it through performance on the hardest files.
What we stand for
These principles are how Encore Restoration runs large and complex ICI and course-of-construction files across Canada except Quebec: excellence under pressure, employee ownership, confidential respect, ICI specialization, stakeholder clarity, and national reach. The working sequence is Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild, with 24/7 response on assigned files.
Large and complex losses expose weak process and weak leadership. We recruit and retain people who raise the standard when the file is hardest.
Those who lead the work should share in the success. Our model is designed so the best project managers and site supervisors can get in on the ground floor.
Whether you are exploring a career conversation or a sensitive assignment, discretion is non-negotiable. Contact us knowing your outreach stays private.
We do not dilute focus across every residential service line. Our craft is industrial, commercial, institutional, and course of construction recovery at scale.
Insurers, adjusters, loss consultants, property managers, and facility owners need transparent data and disciplined communication — not noise.
We serve Canada (excluding Quebec), with the ambition and structure to support complex losses wherever they occur in our service area.

Founder
Drew founded Encore Restoration alongside a team of restoration veterans who shared his belief that people are the company. Proudly Canadian and employee-owned, Encore was created to provide a home for exceptional people to serve their clients while giving them the opportunity to help build, own, and share in its success.
The goal is to do honourable work while creating a lasting community where no one stands alone. At Encore, ownership is more than financial: it means taking personal responsibility for delivering results, serving clients, and supporting one another.
Drew’s career was shaped at On Side Restoration, where he helped grow his father’s small family business into a coast-to-coast restoration company that later became part of a major Canadian insurer. Over more than 30 years, his work evolved from hands-on labour to implementing operational systems to leading On Side’s top-producing project teams, taking him from the field to the desk to the boardroom. He looks back with deep gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside his heroes—his father, colleagues, customers, and mentors.
Drew brings decades of experience, a calm approach to complex, high-stress situations, strong industry relationships, disciplined documentation, and personal accountability. He believes sound decisions for clients and project partners depend on timely, reliable information and transparency. His approach combines field knowledge, documentation tools such as thermal imaging and 3D scanning, and collaboration with independent specialists. His experience spans losses of all sizes, including medical facilities where minimizing business interruption is critical, food-processing environments with food-safety requirements, and multi-family strata projects coordinated with property managers.
His background includes industry certifications such as Advanced Structural Drying, a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University, a Construction Management diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Business Management degree from Capilano University.
